and Flathead River fishing are some of the on-site amenities. Are you
looking for fun things to do in Glacier Country, like fly-fishing on
Flathead River property, hiking in the nearby wilderness areas,
slipping down the waterslides, boating on the many lakes, or just
relaxing while watching a fantastic Montana sunset? If so, this is a
great base camp for all of the above and more!

Campground & Cabins is located 8 miles from the west entrance to
Glacier National Park in the Northwest corner of Montana. There is
Flathead River frontage - a pristine water designated as Wild &
Scenic-with a lovely, quiet trail to the water's edge for the
enjoyment of the visitor - whether fishing or just needing some quiet
times to soak in the beauty of the area. Explore the area with a
scenic drive to Logan Pass on Glacier Park's Going-to-the-Sun Road,
where wildlife and bird watching are second only to the stunning
mountain vistas and cascading waterfalls along the roadside. Several
guided tours are available in the area as well as your choice of horseback tours, scenic boat rides on Glacier's lakes and rivers,
helicopter tours or an interpretive tour of Glacier in a restored
historic Red Bus.
This GLACIER AREA CAMPGROUND was planned
with you in mind. The level, park-like setting provides large drive
through sites with up to 50 amp breakers, septic, and water service.
There are also back-ins, tent spaces, sites for the physically
challenged, a dump station, and rental cabins. The clean, hot showers
are non-coin operated and located in the restrooms to the rear of the
office, while the office store provides quick convenience for the
items you forgot to bring or already used on your trip.
The
campground is owner operated and in their 19th year of business.
Their lifetime knowledge of the area will enhance your visit. The
owners are happy to share touring info with you - where to go, what
to do, and their favorite must-see places in the Flathead Valley.
